I began my nursing career in 1994. Since 2005 I have been working in the hospice field, and found that many patients were no longer able to go to the podiatrist for foot and nail care. With that in mind, I decided to start Professional Foot Care Nursing. My primary goal is to provide nursing foot care for older adults, whether this is in the home setting, assisted living facilities, group homes, hospice, or at adult day care. Services include full lower extremity assessment to nail trimming, callous and corn reduction, skin hydration, massage, education and referral to a physician or podiatrist as needed.
