Pedal Dermatology - 2.0 CE Credits This is a practical program designed to answer your questions about symptoms and conditions that occur while examining your patients feet. Along with skin conditions, we'll cover presentations in the nails, lower extremities and more. The conditions we'll cover in this video include Tinea Pedis (Athlete's Foot), Fungal Toenails, Macerated Innerspaces, Heel Fissures, Hyperkeratotic Lesions, Plantar Warts, Subungual Granuloma, and Pterygium. Pedal Dermatology Video Contents Etiology, physical findings, differential diagnosis and treatment of tinea pedis and onychomycosis Etiology, physical findings and treatment protocols for macerated inner spaces, heel fissures, corns and calluses, plantar warts Skin changes secondary to lymphedema, arterial disease, venous disease, psoriasis Medications and skin care which can be beneficial with damaged skin of the legs and feet Toenail pathologies including lytic nails, subungual granulomas, subungual hematoma, subungual exostosis, including treatment options and patterns of regrowth Changes to the appearance of toenails which can be associated with and diagnostic of systemic disease Course Objectives Identify three categories of the appearance of onychomycosis on toenails Discuss topical treatments for onychomycosis Discussed how macerated inner spaces and heel fissures can lead to bacterial infection Describe some of the skin changes which occur with chronic venous disease Give examples of changes to toenails which could indicate the presence of systemic disease
