Patient Education Resources - 1.0 CE Credit In this course we'll be looking at educational resources for patients who suffer from from foot conditions and have co-occurring diabetes. It is so important to help your patients/clients understand their health conditions. The nature of the condition, possible effects, potential treatment options. This will allow them the best chance of productive cooperation with the treatment plans. It might also help them avoid some of the possible manifestations of their conditions. We'll discuss reliable sources of handouts, videos, websites, etc. These sources may provide accurate information for the patients and some of the questions tat they may not ask during the visit. It might also prevent them from searching Google for the information!!! Heaven only knows what they'll "learn" there!! We'll also discuss self-made handouts for your patients/clients. We need to create handouts that can communicate with individuals who probably have a lower literacy level and a lower basic health care issue knowledge. This video will make your provider-patient education easier and more effective!!
